Live Entertainment.ie is an online platform that strives to represent the very best musicians and entertainers in Ireland. Clients can book gigs directly with the act and also via our booking service. There are paid memberships where you can be notified with gigs relating to your act and connect with the booker direct. We also offer a free membership where musicians can upload a profile and list their gigs. We look for quality, professional and reliable live entertainment and therefore have a strict vetting procedure. If you would like to be listed on Live Enterainement.ie, we require the following:

Price Guide - You set your own prices but we have average prices to help clients search for their budget.

Website / Social Pages - We only accept working professionals that have a website or established social media page

How It Works

There a are a few different membership options when joining Live Entertainment.ie. All memberships will list you in our 'Plan My Event' booking service. Only paid memberships will get you notifications direct from the customer with the 'Check My Date' feature. There is one act listing per membership unless on the 'Agent' membership which will allow up to 5 different act & service listings. Agent memberships are also used for Multi band lineups (where one band can perform multiple locations on one day.)

You set your own fees and you set your own performance areas. They'll need to be above our minimum rates to insure you don't undercut other musicians. A typical base fee per musician is €250 - €350.

Anyone can create an account - but to be able to publish your profile live you'll need to have professionally produced promo videos (which will be vetted for quality by a member of our team). The competition is high, it is best suited to musicians and entertainers who are already gigging on a professional or semi-professional basis.

Live Entertainment .ie are a live entertainment online listing and booking agency, arranging live music and entertainment for weddings, events and parties.

We represent some of the best musicians and entertainers in Ireland and book 1000’s of events each year.

The majority of our work is dealing with inbound enquiries for private events, with customers searching our website to find artists available on their event date, doing their research, and then making enquiries for the acts they like best. This means we can only represent artists who have good enough promo materials to attract enquiries.

Your membership must be approved by our team as the standard of performance & promotional materials required is high.

How Do I Join

When you sign up for membership it’s important that you submit high quality promo materials otherwise your application will almost certainly be declined. Please take time to compare your existing promotional materials to those of our top ranked acts. We look to recruit acts with promo of similar quality.

You can join on a free membership level whereby you will be listed on the site and can post your gigs, customers cannot contact you directly via the website and you will not be notified of possible gigs. You can have a maximum of 3 videos on your profile.

A paid membership will give you access to all the enquiries made by clients on the website. You will be able to reply and book with the clients directly with no commission fees. You can have a maximum of 20 videos on your profile.

Free & Paid Members will be listing on our 'Plan My Event' service where clients work with the Live Entertainment team on creating their event. Any acts booked via the 'Plan My Event' service can expect to pay a commission between 10 -15%. You do not have to accept these gigs, there is no exclusivity, everything is on a gig by gig basis.

Demo and Promotional Material

We need at least 3 professional videos, 6 photos, Song List & Bio to display on our website and socials. The videos must not contain direct contact details and be of professional quality.

How Bookings Work

After a customer has used our website to search the artists they like, they submit an enquiry via our 'Check My Date' or 'Plan My Event'. Clients can also contact acts directly via there details listed on their profile. (Only paid members will have their contact details listed.)

The enquiry from "Check My Date' is sent directly to all of our paid members. From here the members can chat and book directly with the clients. No added fees are charged by Live Entertainment. The working contract is between the act and the client.

'Plan My Event' enquiries are assigned to a dedicated coordinator on the Live Entertainment.ie team who will liaise directly with the selected artists and the customer to confirm all the event details and get confirmed quotes. The coordinator supports each customer through the enquiry process, answering any questions about the selected artists and about hosting entertainment at their event. They negotiate individual requirements and costs until the customer is happy that they’ve found the perfect act, and the act is happy with the deal on the table, at which point a booking is secured between the customer and selected artist.

Live Entertainment.ie draw up a legally binding contract and takes a booking deposit (our fee) - and the artist is usually paid directly by the customer. You have full say in your prices and everything that you agree to, and once the booking is secured, you are welcome to speak directly with your customers. A team member supports each booking before and after the event to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Fees

You choose what you want to charge. (Including a price inc travel) You can choose which counties you want to work in and a range of other factors which affect your prices. Paid Members will only receive gig inquiries that match their profile, Location & Price bracket.

We have suggested net retail prices for all formats of act, and we can offer advice on how you can price yourself to be competitive and win gigs. Most artists get paid on the night of each event, but it’s possible to request payment in advance from customers or to have Live Entertainment.ie collect all or part of your payment upfront.

All the artists we represent are hand picked from the best applications that we receive. This ensures quality and reliability for our customers.

Declined Applicants

We can’t always respond to declined applications with specific reasons. However - 99.9% of the time one or more of the following four reasons will apply:

  1. The promotional photos were not of a professional standard

  2. The artist’s identity / performance style was dated or unsuitable for our client base

  3. The act’s performance or vocal quality was not good enough

  4. The production quality of the audio / video was not good enough

  5. The promotional material contains contact details

Your promo materials need to show that you are as good as or better than other similar artists that we already represent. You might be amazing live, but your promo needs to be able to sell you online.

It should not be difficult to compare your promotional materials with the relevant top ranked acts listed on our website. Take time to review the quality of your promo materials against theirs and judge for yourself how well you compare.

Ideally you will have done this BEFORE applying to join - but if your application was unsuccessful, you can make improvements and re-apply. However, before submitting a second application please email us and chat about what you need to improve so you don’t waste money producing new promotional materials that will get declined again.
